Bringing nearly 30 years experience to the table, Bryn offers her unique talents to Artemis Healing Center as a practitioner. She is certified by The Body Therapy Center, Spirit House Bodywork, the Arvigo Institute, LaStone™ Massage and Living Awareness Institute to name but a few.
Her expertise in bodywork encompasses Swedish, Polarity, Shiatsu, Thai, Lomi Lomi, Deep Tissue, Trigger Point, Acupressure, Esalen, Mayan Abdominal Massage™ and LaStone™ hot stone massage, as well as western herbalism, Ayurveda, Chakra Balancing, Flower Essences and Essential Oils, guided meditation and positive affirmation therapy.
As a cancer survivor that journeyed through surgical menopause at the tender age of 30, Bryn is passionate about women's health and healing - from menarche to menopause, she supports and encourages women to embrace wholeness in body, mind and spirit, and has studied with such notables as: Kami McBride, Amanda McQuade- Crawford, Susun Weed, Dr. Linda Winter, PhD, Patience Harvey, Zsuzsanna Budapest, Lunaea Weatherstone, Beth Beurkens and Mara Freeman.
Bryn has recently returned from Oregon, where she continued in her studies with Dr. Rosita Arvigo; and is now a qualified practitioner of the Arvigo Techniques of Maya Abdominal Massage (ATMAM).
ATMAM is centered around the ancient Mayan techniques, which reposition organs that have dropped and restricted the flow of blood, lymph, nerve & chi energy. These techniques are proven to be effective in the treatment of digestive issues, pelvic and menstrual issues, infertility issues, pregnancy and labor, menopause, low back pain and more.
Bryn's bodywork style is empathic, nurturing, restorative, balancing and supportive. She focuses on providing sessions that are individually designed to address the needs of her clients, and whether it is a custom flower essence / herbal tea blend or rejuvenative massage; you will experience the benefit from compassionate care that fosters a deep and lasting sense of well-being.
